Comer Hoping To Restore Funding For Senior Citizen Centers

Congressman James Comer says good things are happening in Washington, D.C., even though you may not be hearing about them.

During an interview with the News Edge, Comer notes the Education Committee recently passed the Older American Act.

He adds if approved, the bill would restore much-needed funding to senior citizen centers in the first district.

Comer says they are also working on some agriculture issues.

They are also working on the U.S./Mexico/Canada Trade Agreement.

He notes the agreement has the support of labor unions and the business community.

Comer also spoke about getting basic regulations on CBD oil to make sure consumers are protected during a Thursday morning interview on the WKDZ Country Club.
