Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide After Clarksville Crash

Clarksville Police have charged a man with vehicular homicide and assault Wednesday after an investigation into a crash that happened in March.

Police say 21-year-old Gregory Pierre-Louis was eastbound on Purple Heart Highway when a car driven by a 37-year-old woman who was westbound on the same road attempted to turn onto Evans Road.

Pierre-Louis was reportedly going 95 mph and hit the woman’s car.

The woman whose name has not been released along with a juvenile in her vehicle were injured in the crash.

Police say after the crash the juveniles unborn child died.

Pierre-Louis is charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and speeding.
