The Christian County Animal Shelter will host their 6th annual Spay-ghetti Dinner Saturday afternoon at the James E. Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville.
Executive Director Irene Grace tells the News Edge dinner will be served from 4:00 until 6:00. She notes the proceeds go toward their “Get ‘Em Done” program.
She adds getting your animals spayed or neutered is important.
After dinner, a live auction will be held at 6:00.
Grace says advanced tickets are $8 or $10 at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased at several locations in Hopkinsville.
Everyone who purchases a ticket will be put in a drawing for a country ham.
Grace adds the shelter takes in all kinds of donations from used cat and dog items, to food and kitty litter. Christian County Animal Shelter is located at 2935 Russellville Road.
