Police: Man Charged After Threatening To Blow Up The Hopkinsville Police Department

A Hopkinsville man is charged with retaliation against a participant in a legal process after he reportedly made multiple threats to law enforcement Friday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 59-year-old Michael Climo was involved in a domestic dispute with a female and did not like the outcome with police.

Climo reportedly called the police department and threatened to “blow up the police department” and “shoot the chief of police”.

When officers located Climo he allegedly told police Judge Cotthoff made him angry again and he would ” Take him off the bench”.
