A Hopkinsville man has been charged with attempted assault after he reportedly shot at a man during a fight Friday night on Long Street.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to North Iris Street after a man called saying he was shot at on Long Street just before 8 p.m.
After talking with the victim police allegedly found that a physical fight on Long Street led to 18-year-old Isaiah Henderson firing his gun at the victim as he ran away.
An ambulance was called to check out the man whose name has not been released but he was not hit in the shooting.
Henderson is charged with first-degree attempted assault.
