Cadiz Man Appointed To KY Council On Postsecondary Education

A Cadiz man is among the latest appointments by Governor Matt Bevin to state board and commissions.

Richard Ryan Nelson, the executive director of the Commonwealth Policy Center, will serve on the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education until December 31, 2022. He will represent the Supreme Court District 1.

The council on Postsecondary Education is Kentucky’s statewide postsecondary and adult education coordinating agency. The Governor appoints the Council members, which thirteen citizens, one faculty member, and one student member; the Commissioner of Education is an ex-officio member.
