Two students were recognized for their hard work in a SkillsUSA competition during the Christian County Board of Education meeting last week.
Gateway Academy Principal Penny Knight says Jadyn Hicks and Will Knight built a robot from scratch last school year and took home an award from the national competition.
One of the competitions while building the robot included driving it without looking at it and using teamwork to take “bombs” out of mailboxes.
