2 Regional Behavioral Healthcare Organizations Merge to Better Serve

Two regional behavioral healthcare organizations will be merging to better serve the people in rural communities throughout western Kentucky.

Joe Dan Beavers, President/CEO of LifeSkills, Inc., says that the organization merged with Pennyroyal Center on July 1st to form a strong network to better advocate and care for its patients and plans to continue to expand and grow its services and programs for clients for many years to come.

He adds that both organizations plan on staying true to the local and regional healthcare system and assures current clients of both that services will only continue to grow.

Eric Embry, CEO of Pennyroyal Center, adds that another of their main goals is making sure that services in the ever changing medical field are always available to the citizens in rural Kentucky.

Beavers explains that the merged entity will total over 875 employees and 26 service locations throughout 18 counties, all of which will remain in operation and will continue to operate under their current names.
