A 61-year old Murray man driving a moped was killed when he was hit by a vehicle on US Highway 641 North in Calloway County Sunday night.
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office reports Dexter Slaughter was traveling southbound near Flint Road shortly before 10:45 p.m. when a vehicle driven by 43-year old Rodney Harness of Paducah, who was traveling in the same direction, didn’t see him and hit the moped. Slaughter was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the fatal collision.
