A Crofton woman was taken to the hospital after a wreck on Madisonville Road Saturday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputies say 52-year-old Phillip Powell of Hopkinsville was southbound two miles from Hopkinsville when he stopped for a funeral procession.
34-year-old Tara Whisler was behind Powell and struck the back of his vehicle. Whisler reportedly told police she was looking at a map on her phone when the crash happened.
Whisler was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
