Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation staff are going to have a busy month ahead of them with at least two activities planned for the month.
Programs Coordinator Toby Hudson tells the News Edge they will host a Movies in the Park again on Friday, August 16.
Superintendent Tab Brockman adds the 4th annual Summer Salute will make it’s way into downtown Hopkinsville Friday and Saturday, August 23 and 24.
He notes there will be more music on Saturday.
Hudson and Brockman say there will be plenty of food at Summer Salute.
There will be other fun events going on during the two-day event.
Brockman and Hudson spoke about the upcoming activities during a monthly visit Monday morning on WKDZ and WHVO.
