A crowd of students, parents and staff members came together Tuesday evening to pray for the upcoming school year and collect school supplies. Tiger Connection, a support group for Hopkinsville High and Middle Schools, hosted the event.
During the Tiger Connection Prayer Walk, the crowd circled the high and middle schools and stopped at each school to pray. Christopher Bell from Little River Baptist Church in Cadiz prayed for the students, staff, and schools.

HHS Principal Dr. John Gunn concluded the Prayer Walk with comments that prayers possibly prevented a shooting at the high school last year.
