Two local residents are among Governor Matt Bevin’s appointments Monday to state boards and commissions.
Leigh Tribble Durden of Hopkinsville and Richard Ryan Nelson of Cadiz were appointed as members of the Hopkinsville Community College Board of Directors. Durden, a banker, will serve a term expiring September 2, 2023, with Nelson, an executive director, serving a term to expire September 2, 2024.
The HCC Board of Directors is responsible for adopting and implementing an annual budget, approve budget requests, and evaluating the functions of the school and the school’s staff.
