A Pembroke native recently graduated basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Joint Hometown News Service reports U.S. Air Force Airman Alyssa M. Dornhecker completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Dornhecker also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
She is the daughter of Kenneth Dornhecker of Pembroke and Kristina Sullivan of Huntsville, AL and a 2019 graduate of Rossview High School in Clarksville.
