CASA Volunteers Share How They Help Abused Children

Representatives from CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate, spoke at the Kiwanis meeting Thursday on how they serve the best interests of abused and neglected children in the community.

Executive Director Virginia Erxleben spoke about the role of CASA in the community.

She also explains how CASA began and how they currently operate.

Court Appointed Special Advocate Linda Farmer says she forms a special bond with the children she serves.

Rico Rodriguez, a member of the board of directors, hopes they will continue to grow and expand.
