A Trigg County woman was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Main Street and Lakota Drive in Cadiz Tuesday afternoon.
Cadiz Police Sergeant Tyler Thomas tells the News Edge the crash occurred shortly after 11:30 when Brenda Allen of Cadiz was driving a car westbound on Main Street and turned southbound on Lakota Drive and hit a van driven by DeDe Wynn of Cadiz. He notes both vehicles were inoperable after the collision.
According to Sgt. Thomas, Wynn was transported by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of lower leg pain. Allen and a passenger in Wynn’s vehicle, Misty Wynn, were not hurt in the wreck.
Main Street was closed at the intersection for about 30 minutes while emergency personnel worked the scene.
