Cadiz City Council approved municipal road aid for the 2020 fiscal year during a special called meeting Tuesday afternoon.
Public Works Director Kerry Fowler notes they will receive the money a little differently this time.
Last year and in year’s past, they received the money each month, instead of getting more of a lump sum.
He adds 3% of the money will have to go into an emergency fund.
Council members unanimously approved the municipal road aid, with Susan Bryant and Bob Noel absent from the meeting.
