Two cell towers in Trigg County will be activated by the end of the month.
AT&T has confirmed to the News Edge the towers in Roaring Springs (Hunter Road) and Cerulean (Buffalo-Cerulean Road) will be in service by July 31. Trigg County Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander says this will help the county tremendously.
He adds this will also help make the county safer.
Alexander notes there could be additional towers coming to the county in the near future, including another one in the far Linton area.
Both the Potts Creek (McAtee Road) and Trigg Furnace (Will Jackson Road) cell towers will be activated by August 31.
