Police have released more information about a wreck that injured a bicyclist on Jan Drive Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Edward Eastman said 11-year-old Mekgi Hairston of Hopkinsville was on East Parkview Drive when he failed to stop at the intersection of Jan Drive.
He pulled into the path of an SUV driven by 41-year-old Teleka Wheeler of Hopkinsville who was on Jan Drive.
Hairston was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for leg injuries.
