A Hopkinsville man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a church bus entered a plea at his arraignment in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
28-year old Tyler Frances was indicted last month for first-degree sexual abuse. Frances and his defense attorney, Sands Chewning appeared before Judge John Atkins and entered a not guilty plea.
As previously reported by the News Edge, Hopkinsville police said Frances was arrested on April 21 after he reportedly ripped off a 15-year old girl’s underwear and forcibly touched her inappropriately.
Judge Atkins scheduled a pretrial conference for August 14.
