A mobile home on Monroe Lane in Oak Grove was damaged after a report of lightning hitting the home Wednesday afternoon.
Oak Grove Fire Department Deputy Chief Bill Laux told the News Edge at the scene smoke was coming from the single-wide mobile home when they arrived.
No one was injured in the fire but the family will not be able to stay in the home.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family.
Oak Grove Fire Department was assisted by Fort Campbell and Pembroke Fire Departments.
