A Cadiz man was involved in a crash that killed three people and injured six on Interstate 24 Sunday afternoon.
Illinois State Police say 38-year-old Kurt Grubaugh of Cadiz was the driver of one of the seven vehicles hit when a tractor-trailer driven by 57-year-old Rickey Warren of Mississippi failed to stop in time and struck multiple vehicles.
Grubaugh and his passenger were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Three people were killed and six others were taken to the hospital.
The wreck occurred around the 37-mile marker of Interstate 24.
