A Hopkinsville woman was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault after a fight on North O’Neal Avenue Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 33-year-old Tiemisha Merritt got into a fight with her mother Reva Oldham over food that Oldham had brought for the kids the night before.
During the fight, Merritt and her boyfriend hit Oldham’s car with a bat and chair causing significant damage.
Merritt’s boyfriend fled the area before police arrived.
