A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she reportedly pushed her way into a home and threatened to kill a man inside Wednesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 28-year-old Decora Cotton threatened to stab and kill Elvin Hopson after pushing her way into his Hazel Street home.

Cotton reportedly told Hopson “I’ll come back here with a knife, I’ll stab you, I’ll kill you.

She was allegedly mad over Hopson filing a police report on her before.

She is charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree burglary, and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
