A 38-year old man was indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday for first-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
According to the arrest warrant, Hopkinsville Police said that during June 6 and June 7, 2018, Michael Crowley subjected a 7-year old female to sexual contact when she was sleeping in a recliner in her grandmother’s living room while everyone else in the home was asleep. When the child woke up Crowley picked her up and put her on another sofa in the living room. Police said the victim reported the incident to her grandmother later that morning.
Police report Crowley was found Louisiana and a governor’s warrant had to be obtained to extradite him back to Kentucky where he was arrested on the warrant signed by Christian District Court Judge Foster Cotthoff.
