Trigg Clerk’s Office Honored For Participation In Trust For Life Program

The Trigg Circuit Court Clerk’s office is celebrating being among 64 counties across Kentucky that were honored for their support of the organ donor awareness program.

Circuit Clerk Pam Perry tells the News Edge the Trust For Life program is very beneficial for people who are in need of organs.

Every dollar collected through the organ donation registry goes to multiple organizations to help people in need.

She notes there are numerous survivor stories on trustforlife.org including a story from Trigg County resident Kevin Stroud.

Perry adds they have signed up nearly 8,000 Trigg County residents to be a part of the program, with more than 2 million people registered statewide.

Each of the 64 offices were given a tin of gourmet popcorn for their hard work, with Caldwell, Calloway, and Lyon counties also being recognized.
