Kentucky State Police say an investigation into a fatal house fire in Hopkins County last month determined the blaze started in the garage.
Shortly before midnight on May 21, state police and emergency personnel responded to a residential fire at 11265 Nebo Road in Nebo. During the investigation, authorities found the homeowner, 66-year old William Phillips deceased inside the house.
Due to the extreme damage, the arson investigator says the cause of the fire is undetermined.
