Candidate for governor, Rocky Adkins, will be holding a Rock the Bluegrass Event in Christian County Friday to meet with voters. Adkins, the Democratic leader in the Kentucky House, is running for governor with Stephanie Horne, a former Jefferson County school board member and attorney in Louisville.
The Rock the Bluegrass Event will take place on the second floor of the Historic Christian County Courthouse, located at 511 South Main Street in Hopkinsville. The event will take place at noon and is open to the community.
Following his Hopkinsville stop, Adkins will stop in Trigg County at 1:30 to meet with voters. He will be at the Lost River Creamery at the Cabin located on Main Street in downtown Cadiz.
The Primary Election will be on May 21st and polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
