4 Charged After Calling In Fake Prescriptions In Hopkinsville

Three men and a woman have been charged with multiple forgery charges after fake prescriptions were called into a local pharmacy Monday.

Hopkinsville Police say 25-year-old James Hampton Jr., 24-year-old Anthony Standifer and 22-year-old Iyanna Green of Illinois along with 25-year-old Travie Mitchell Jr. of Arizona, were all arrested after they reportedly called in fake prescriptions to Tom’s Pharmacy on Country Club Lane.

After a search of the vehicle, police found fake checks, a computer, a printer, blank checks, and more forged prescriptions.

They are all charged with first and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of a forgery device.
