A Maple Court home was damaged after a fire broke out in the attic Thursday morning. Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Captain Michael Pendleton told the News Edge at the scene no one was injured in the fire.
The fire was contained to the attic and started in an electrical box. The family will be temporarily displaced and the American Red Cross was called to help the family.
