Hopkinsville Man Charged With Threatening Liquor Store Employees

A Hopkinsville man reportedly threatened multiple people including police after being asked to leave a store Tuesday night. Hopkinsville Police say 42-year-old Datorian Caswell was asked to leave the Copper Still on Dawson Springs Road by employees due to prior incidents of shoplifting.

Caswell became extremely hostile and started making threats to harm the employees.

Police found Caswell at a home on Holley Street along with marijuana and beer.

Caswell allegedly threatened to fight law enforcement and told police they were racist.

He was arrested and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, intimidating a participant in a legal process and possession of marijuana.
