Several Trigg County High School students brought home awards from the recent Regional Next Big Thing Competition.
According to the school, students from the Engineering and Information Technology Departments competed at Murray State University Tuesday. Of the sixty-six teams that competed, Trigg County was named the Overall Winning School.
Overall Winning Team – GCAN: Medical Alert Bracelet
The team comprised of Cade Bleidt and Grace Knight
Overall 4th Place Team – BG Power
The team comprised of Gracie Hill and Brittney Kelly
Best Executive Summary – GCAN
Best Use of Technology – Siren Sight
The team comprised of Daniel Martin and Matthew Walker
Panel 1 Winner – GCAN
Panel 2 Winner – Siren Sight
Panel 5 Winner – BG Power
The school also sends a huge congratulations to Mrs. Kelley Carver and Mrs. Lori Ricks for all the hard work they put in daily to help the students.
