Police have located a man Friday morning that escaped from the Christian County Work Release Detention Program Tuesday night.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Edward Eastman said 22-year-old Calvin Merritt Jr. was located in a home on Cypress Street and fled on foot leading police on a short pursuit before he was arrested in the area of West Edmonds Street.
An ambulance was called to check Merritt out for possible hand injuries.
