A Hopkinsville man was charged after he was reportedly found with a stolen gun Thursday night.Hopkinsville Police say 22-year-old Anshawn Francis was the passenger in a vehicle stopped for failing to illuminate headlights on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of East 21st Street.
Police could reportedly smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and found a small bag of marijuana and a handgun that was reported stolen.
Francis is charged with receiving stolen property and carrying a concealed weapon.
He is lodged in the Christian County Jail.
