The 2019 Trigg County Leadership Class will be donating proceeds from a weekend fundraiser to the Trigg County Senior Citizens Center.
Class member Kyle Hensley tells the News Edge they raised nearly $7,300 Saturday afternoon.
He notes everyone who attended had a lot of fun.

In order to graduate the leadership class, members were required to complete a community service project. They chose to help the senior center after budget cuts at the beginning of the year were going to change how the center operated, including closing down the kitchen inside the facility and having meals delivered in from Hopkinsville.
