3rd Person Charged In Madisonville Murder

Police have charged a third person in a murder that happened February 4th in Madisonville.

Madisonville police say on February 4th around 10:30 pm Dominick Yarbrough called police reporting his fiancee had been shot after a drug transaction. Yarbrough was found outside the home on Sugg Street when police arrived and led them to his fiancee Ashley Egan who was found on the living room floor unresponsive.

After police conducted interviews and collected evidence they were able to get a warrant for Herman Roberts and Mar’Keil Foster who were driven to the home by Ryan Bruch who stayed in the vehicle during the transaction.

Foster and Roberts reportedly entered the home for a drug transaction and Roberts pulled a gun and demanded money for the drugs. During the transaction, Egan was shot.

Egan was taken to Baptist Health by ambulance but later died from her injuries. Yarbrough was also injured but the report does not list the type of injury.

Foster and Roberts are charged with murder and first-degree robbery and Bruch is charged with complicity to commit first-degree robbery and facilitation to commit murder. Bruch was found in Volusia County, Florida and charged with being a fugitive of justice.

Roberts was arrested on other charges on March 1st in Memphis, Tennessee and was transported to Hopkins County Jail on March 19th.
