The Cadiz Rotary Club is gearing up for their busiest week of the year which will take place next month.
Rotary Secretary Sharon Butts says things are looking great for the club after a successful 5K event Saturday morning.

Rotarian Scott Sutherland tells the News Edge they are accepting items now for the week-long auction.

The country store takes items that are valued under $25. The auction will take place the week of April 15 through 19 beginning at 7:00 each evening.

Sutherland notes the majority of the money they receive comes from Century Club donations.

He adds they support a number of programs within the county that help students and the senior citizens in the community.

The auction week will kick-off Monday morning, April 15 with a breakfast at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center. Tickets are $25 each or $175 for a table of eight. Doors will open at 6:00, with breakfast, served at 7:00.
