A Hopkinsville native recently graduated basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Joint Hometown News Service reports U.S. Air Force Airman Deseandre L. Green completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Green also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Elisha Green and Michael Moore and grandson of Vannessa Green of Hopkinsville and a 2018 graduate of Hopkinsville High School.
