Police Looking For Clarksville Home Invasion Suspects

Authorities in Montgomery County are looking for two suspects involved in a home invasion and stolen vehicle on Biglen Road in Clarksville Thursday morning.

Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the home invasion occurred shortly before 8:00 in the 800 block when a man got out of his vehicle and was approached by two armed men outside of his residence. The resident was hit in the head with a handgun and the suspects then took the keys to his BMW. The victim was able to get away from the two men and ran behind a building at which time the suspects entered his home. After being inside the home a short time, the two suspects fled the scene in the victim’s BMW. Knoll says there was also a newer model red or maroon Ford Fusion with a Knox County tag which may have been involved in the home invasion that left the scene.

According to Knoll, officers spotted the stolen BMW a few minutes later on Lafayette Road where it fled and officers lost sight of it. The vehicle was spotted again on Providence Boulevard and turned into the Vulcan Plant at which time the individuals abandoned the car and fled on foot. Officers and K-9s saturated the area looking for the suspects but were unsuccessful in finding the men.

The victim of the home invasion reportedly suffered minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The suspects are described as two black males, one was wearing a black Adidas jacket and the other male had dreads which were almost shoulder length. Knoll says they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police are also trying to locate the Ford Fusion.
