Son of Princeton Native Selected to Serve at U.S. Central Command

The son of a Princeton native has been selected to serve at the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).

According to a release from the Navy Office of Community Outreach, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command’s Force Master Chief James Hertel, of Morganfield, was selected to serve in the top enlisted spot at U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa, Florida.

Herdel’s selection marks the first time a member of the U.S. Navy will serve as USCENTCOM’s senior enlisted leader.

Herdel is the son of Princeton resident, Danita Dees.
