Police are investigating shots fired in the area of South Harrig and East Center streets in Madisonville.
Madisonville Police report several citizens called Hopkins County Central Dispatch around 10:00 Wednesday night after hearing several gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found multiple shell casings and a house on South Harrig Street that had been hit by gunfire several times. Police say residents of the home were not injured and there was minimal damage to the home.
