A Hopkinsville man was charged with multiple drug charges Monday afternoon on Thomas Street.
According to a Hopkinsville Police report, police were called to Thomas Street for a suspicious subject and found 26-year-old James Johnson who would not remove his hands from his pockets.
After talking with Johnson he was reportedly found to have heroin in a small container also police found 2 grams of methamphetamine in the same container.
He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
