The area has seen very low unemployment rates recently, but there are still plenty of jobs available. The South West Kentucky Economic Development Council keeps an eye on job opportunities.
Executive Director, Mark Lindsey says in a recent survey in Christian County, there were many jobs still available.

Lindsey says there are opportunities available for students just out of high school along with those leaving the military.

He adds those workers who prove themselves have the opportunity to work their way up to higher pay and additional benefits that can develop into a career.
