Two men and a woman are charged with cruelty to animals after dogs were found at a Newstead Road home in bad health Friday.
According to a Christian County Sheriffs Office Report, 29-year-old Johnathon Trotter, 29-year-old Danny Encinias and 30-year-old Tija Encinas were charged after four very malnourished dogs were found at a home at the 11000 block of Newstead Road.
Deputies seized the dogs that were reportedly not being taken care of. Deputies had been called to the home several times for the dogs being under fed and the owners had told deputies they would take them to the vet.
