A mother and father arrested on Sunday for drug and shoplifting charges reportedly left their children at home without letting police know.
48-year-old Johnny Austin and 32-year-old Sunshine Austin are charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and abandonment of a minor after they failed to let police know their two children had been left alone without supervision.
The children were reportedly going to friends for food and they were not enrolled in school.
