The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9:00 Thursday evening through 9:00 Friday morning for Caldwell, Hopkins, Lyon, and Marshall counties and northward in western Kentucky with very light freezing rain or freezing drizzle expected. Total ice accumulations from a trace to less than a tenth of an inch are expected which could cause some hazardous road conditions that could impact the morning commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Motorists should expect slippery roads and slow down and use caution while driving.
