Police have released the names of the teen and driver involved in an accident on Lafayette Road Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police identified the teen as Dakota Mingle and the driver of the truck that hit him as 49-year old Victor Leonard of Clarksville.
Public Information Officer Mike Atkins tells the News Edge the tells the News Edge the teen was hit near the intersection of Koffman Drive.
He adds the teen was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. At this time, he says there are no charges pending.
The accident occurred Monday morning shortly after 7:30.
