A teenage boy was injured when he was hit by a truck on Lafayette Road Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Mike Atkins tells the News Edge the teenager was hit by a truck near the intersection of Koffman Drive.
He adds the teen was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. At this time, he says there are no charges pending.
The accident occurred Monday morning shortly after 7:30.
