UPDATE- 2 Charged After Fleeing From Deputies In Hopkinsville

Two men are charged after a pursuit Wednesday night that started in Hopkinsville.

According to Christian County Deputies, 24-year-old Mark Crawford fled from deputies after they attempted to stop him on North Main Street for a traffic violation.

He was stopped by deputies on Hickory Smokehouse Road, after they used a maneuver to spin the vehicle off the roadway.

Deputies said, Mark Crawford also had a passenger 22-year-old Justin Crawford in the vehicle.

Mark Crawford is charged with speeding 15 mph over the limit, first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, first and second- degree criminal mischief, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear a seat belt, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to illuminate head lamps, reckless driving, failure to or improper signal and two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police.

Justin Crawford was also charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police.

No one was injured in the pursuit.
