Man Charged In Clarksville Vehicle Burglaries

A man was charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia and two counts of vehicle burglary Sunday in Clarksville.

According to a Clarksville Police report, 33-year-old Nathan Clay was seen by a witness in the Home Depot parking lot on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard taking items from an unlocked vehicle.

He was located in the Lowe’s parking lot within 10 minutes after the burglary after a witness was able to give police detailed information about Clay’s vehicle and his description.

The stolen items were reportedly found inside of Clay’s vehicle along with some property from a vehicle burglary at a church located at the 700 block of Madison Street.

Also found was a women’s watch and man’s watch, a pocket mask with STARC MED DET 4, a knife, a ring, and some other items.

Clay is being held on a $12,000 bond.
